This article covers Zip contract ingestion, installed from within Zip’s Integration Platform to import vendor contracts and documents into Lumos.

After this article

You will be able to import Zip contract metadata and documents into the Lumos Found Documents tab via Zip’s Integration Platform.

Capabilities

Required plan and roles

  • Zip plan: access to Zip’s Integration Platform is required. The Lumos integration is a dedicated SKU within the Zip ecosystem. Zip grants access via a $0 order form (reach out to your Lumos Customer Success Manager if you have issues).
  • Zip role: your Zip user must be an Admin to connect.
  • Permission scoping: contract ingestion is read-only from the Lumos perspective (contracts flow from Zip into Lumos). No user or entitlement data is synced.

Instructions

Phase 1: Set up from within Zip This integration is installed from the Zip platform, not from the Lumos integrations catalog. A Zip card may not appear in Lumos, which is expected.
  1. Your Zip CSM sends your company a $0 order form for signature, granting access to Zip’s Integration Platform.
  2. Upon signature, a Zip technical consultant enables the Integration Platform in your Zip tenant (you can enable it in a test environment first).
  3. After enablement, the Lumos team helps complete the connection and map any custom fields. Lumos is added as a workflow action in your Zip contract workflow.
  4. Optional: grant Lumos team members temporary, limited-permission access to Zip to assist onboarding by sending the member list to your Zip CSM for temporary login credentials.
  5. Test the workflow. Upon sign-off, a Zip technical solutions consultant migrates the template to your live environment. After launch, direct questions to support@lumos.com.

Troubleshooting

No Zip card appears in the Lumos integrations catalog. This is expected. Contract ingestion is installed from within the Zip platform as a dedicated Zip SKU (enabled by your Zip CSM), not from Lumos. You want to manage Zip users from Lumos. This integration doesn’t handle user management. Connect Zip through the generic SCIM 2.0 connector against Zip’s SCIM API instead. Contracts stop importing. The Zip contract-ingestion capability is a legacy product being sunset. Contact your Lumos Customer Success Manager about current options. Access to the Integration Platform. If Zip hasn’t granted access, mention you’re working with the Lumos team. Zip provides access via a $0 order form. Escalate through your Lumos CSM if needed.
