You will be able to connect Freshteam to Lumos so Freshteam can serve as a source of user data for your organization.

Capabilities

As a Merge.dev-brokered HRIS integration, Lumos reconciles account status from the HRIS user status: Active → Active, Inactive → Suspended, Pending → Staged, and Deleted (no longer returned) → Deprovisioned. When Freshteam is the User Source, employment status is reconciled separately: Active → Active, Inactive → Inactive, Pending → Staged, and Deleted → Inactive.

Required plan and roles

  • Lumos plan: no minimum plan requirement is documented for this integration.
  • Connection type: Lumos partners with Merge.dev for the Freshteam integration. Authentication is handled through the Merge connection pop-up rather than a Lumos credential form. For more info on the integration requirements, review the Merge.dev documentation.

Read-only access vs provisioning

Is read-only possible? Yes, and it’s the only mode available. This connector is read-only in every configuration: it syncs employee records from Freshteam through Merge.dev and does not provision, update, or delete anything in Freshteam. What read-only requires. No Lumos credential form is used here. Authorize the connection through the Merge.dev pop-up as described in the steps below, then optionally set Freshteam as a Source of Truth for user attributes. Watch out for. Setting Freshteam as a Source of Truth controls which attributes Lumos reads from it, but it does not grant Lumos any ability to write back to Freshteam. Account status reconciliation differs depending on whether Freshteam is configured as the User Source, so confirm which reconciliation mapping applies to your setup before relying on status changes.

Instructions

Phase 1: Connect via Merge
  1. Find the Freshteam card in your Lumos integrations (reconnect an existing card or add a new one).
  2. Click the Connect Freshteam button.
  3. Follow the instructions in the pop-up that appears to finish connecting the integration.
Phase 2: Configure user data settings
  1. After connecting, you can set Freshteam as a source of user data in Lumos.
  2. Configure your Source of Truth settings to control which user attributes Lumos reads from Freshteam.
