You’ll be able to connect SAP SuccessFactors to Lumos through the Merge.dev partnership to sync employee data, and optionally set SAP SuccessFactors as a source of user data in Lumos.Capabilities
As a Merge.dev-brokered HRIS integration, Lumos reconciles account status from the HRIS user status: Active maps to Active, Inactive maps to Suspended, Pending maps to Staged, and Deleted (no longer returned) maps to Deprovisioned. When SAP SuccessFactors is the User Source, employment status is reconciled separately: Active maps to Active, Inactive maps to Inactive, Pending maps to Staged, and Deleted maps to Inactive. Attributes available for mapping in User Sources include Manager, Team, Title, Employment Type, Start Date, and Termination Date. Per-app field support varies.
Required plan and roles
For integration requirements on the SAP SuccessFactors side, review the Merge.dev documentation. The connecting account needs enough access for Merge to read employee data from your SuccessFactors instance. No minimum Lumos plan is documented for this integration.Read-only access vs provisioning
Is read-only possible? Yes, and it’s the only mode available. SAP SuccessFactors connects through Merge.dev as an HRIS data source, Lumos syncs employee data from it and doesn’t provision or deprovision accounts in SuccessFactors itself. What read-only requires. A connecting account with enough access for Merge to read employee data from your SuccessFactors instance (see the Merge.dev documentation for the specific requirements). Follow the steps below to connect and, if you want, set SuccessFactors as a source of user data. Watch out for. SuccessFactors is fronted by Merge HRIS, so a failed employee sync on the Merge side blocks the Lumos connection until it’s resolved. There’s no action that creates, suspends, or deletes accounts in SuccessFactors itself.Instructions
