No minimum Charlie plan is documented for this integration. Connect using a Charlie account that can authorize the Merge.dev link.

Read-only access vs provisioning

Is read-only possible? Yes, and it’s the only mode available. Charlie connects through Merge.dev as an HRIS data source, Lumos syncs user data from it and doesn’t provision or deprovision accounts in Charlie itself. What read-only requires. A Charlie account that can authorize the Merge.dev link. Follow the steps below to connect and, if you want, set Charlie as a source of user data. Watch out for. Charlie only feeds HRIS data into Lumos for visibility, Access Reviews, and offboarding elsewhere, there’s no action that creates, suspends, or deletes accounts in Charlie itself. Field support (Manager, Team, Title, Employment Type, and so on) varies by HRIS provider, check the HRIS Integration Capabilities article for what Charlie specifically supports.

Instructions

Phase 1: Connect in Lumos
  1. Click the Charlie card in your Lumos integrations (reconnect an existing card or add a new one).
  2. Click the Connect Charlie button.
  3. Follow the instructions in the pop-up that appears to finish connecting the integration.
Phase 2: Set Charlie as a source of user data (optional) Once you’ve connected the integration, you’ll probably want to set it as a source of user data in Lumos. See the Source of Truth settings for the options.

Troubleshooting

The connection pop-up doesn’t finish. Complete the Merge.dev link flow in the pop-up window. If it closes early, reopen the Charlie card and click Connect Charlie again.
