# Learn and Set Up Lumos

> New to Lumos? Learn the product in Lumos University, then set it up with Lumos Launchpad.

Getting started with Lumos has two parts. First, learn how Lumos works in Lumos University. Then set it up in your environment with Lumos Launchpad.

## 1. Learn Lumos in Lumos University

Lumos University is our training platform. It has courses for Lumos admins and for the employees who use Lumos day to day. It is open to customers and partners, and it is a good first stop no matter your role.

Start with **Lumos 101: Introduction to Lumos**. It explains how Lumos works and how to plan your rollout. When you finish, you can take the Lumos 101 certification exam.

Deep-dive videos, webinars, and the certification exam are in the [Lumos University](/lumos-university) tab.

## 2. Set up Lumos with Lumos Launchpad

Lumos Launchpad is a guided self-implementation program in the Lumos app. It breaks setup into four modules, and each module into steps. The pages in this section match the app, so you can follow along as you go.

Complete the modules in order. Foundation comes first because the other modules depend on it.
