# UKG Ready

## After this article

You will be able to connect UKG Ready to Lumos to sync users from your HRIS, and use UKG Ready as a source of user data (Source of Truth).

## Required plan and roles

* **UKG Ready role:** you need to be an **Administrator** in your company's UKG Ready instance, or someone has to share their access with you.

## Read-only access vs provisioning

**Is read-only possible?** Yes. UKG Ready only syncs user records into Lumos as a Source of Truth. There's no Provision capability for Users, and nothing in this integration creates, updates, or deprovisions anyone in UKG Ready itself.

**What read-only requires.** An Administrator in your UKG Ready instance, or an admin who shares their access with you, connecting through the Merge.dev-brokered popup. Follow the steps below.

**Watch out for.** This is a Merge.dev-brokered connection, so the underlying credential and scope details live in Merge.dev's own documentation rather than this article. There isn't a separate, narrower read-only role since Administrator access is the only access level documented.

## Instructions

1. Find the UKG Ready card in your Lumos integrations ([reconnect](https://app.lumosidentity.com/integrations?tab=connected) an existing card or [add a new one](https://app.lumosidentity.com/integrations?tab=can_integrate)).
2. Click the **Connect UKG Ready** button.
3. Follow the instructions in the pop-up that appears to finish connecting the integration.
4. After connecting, set UKG Ready as a source of user data if you want to. See the Source of Truth documentation for the different source-of-truth settings.

## Troubleshooting

**Can't connect the integration.** Confirm you are an Administrator in your UKG Ready instance, or that an admin has shared their access with you.
