# Miro (Read-Only)

This is the read-only variant of the Miro integration. It syncs users, teams, boards, and entitlements for visibility and Access Reviews. It does not provision or deprovision. For the version that supports provisioning, see the standard Miro connector.

## After this article

You'll be able to connect the read-only Miro integration to Lumos and resolve common issues that arise when connecting.

## Capabilities

| Functionality | Type | Sync | Provision | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| Users | Account | Yes | No | User accounts |
| Licenses | Permission | Yes | No | Access to different licenses |
| Organization Roles | Permission | Yes | No | Roles granting access in Miro |
| Team Membership | Permission | Yes | No | Team memberships in Miro |
| Board Membership | Permission | Yes | No | Board memberships in Miro |

This variant is read-only, so it supports no deprovisioning actions.

**Activity tracking:** supported for last login. The connector tracks the last activity timestamp for organization members.

## Required plan and roles

* **Miro plan:** you need the Miro **Enterprise** plan to connect this integration.
* **Miro role:** your Miro user must be a **Company Admin** to connect this integration.
* **Scopes:** the read-only variant requests `organizations:read`, `organizations:teams:read`, `projects:read`, `boards:read`, `team:read`, and `identity:read`. It does not request any write scopes.

## Instructions

If you already have Miro connected to Lumos, disconnect the existing integration and add a new Miro connection rather than reconnecting.

**Phase 1: Connect in Lumos**

1. Find the Miro card in your Lumos integrations (reconnect an existing card or add a new one).
2. Choose the read-only Miro option.
3. In Miro, select the correct team and complete the OAuth flow as a Company Admin.

## API Endpoints Used

<Note>
  The API endpoints this integration uses are available to logged-in Lumos customers. [Log in](/login) to view them.
</Note>

## Troubleshooting

**I can't connect the Miro integration.** Your Miro user must be a Company Admin, and your Miro team must be on the Enterprise plan.
