# Dropbox Sign (HelloSign)

## After this article

You'll be able to connect Dropbox Sign, formerly HelloSign, to Lumos to see team members and to offboard them.

## Capabilities

* **List users and entitlements.** Lumos reads the members of your Dropbox Sign team for visibility and Access Reviews.

* **Deprovision user.** Lumos can remove a team member. During removal you can transfer their data by setting a default recipient for documents, templates, and API apps, either the person's manager or a fallback user you choose. Without a recipient, the data stays with the removed account.

## Required plan and roles

* **Dropbox Sign access:** an administrator of your Dropbox Sign team.
* **API key:** the connection uses a Dropbox Sign API key. Enter it on the Lumos connection card.

## Read-only access vs provisioning

**Is read-only possible?** No. Dropbox Sign (HelloSign) connects with a single API key that both lists team members and removes them.

**What full provisioning requires.** An API key generated by an administrator of your Dropbox Sign team, entered on the Lumos connection card. Follow the steps below.

**Watch out for.** Because the same key powers both visibility and removal, anyone who can generate it can also deprovision team members. When removing a user, set a default recipient (their manager or a fallback user) so documents, templates, and API apps transfer instead of staying with the removed account.

## Instructions

**Phase 1: Connect in Lumos**

1. Find the Dropbox Sign (HelloSign) card in your Lumos integrations.
2. Enter the API key shown on the connection card.
3. Click **Connect**.

## Troubleshooting

**Connection fails.** A response like "Not a valid token" means the API key is wrong or was revoked. Reissue it in Dropbox Sign and reconnect.
