# Checkr

## After this article

You will be able to connect Checkr to Lumos to sync users and roles. This is a read-only integration.

## Required plan and roles

* **Checkr access:** you need access to your Checkr settings to generate a SCIM API token.
* **Authentication:** the integration uses a SCIM API token (bearer token).
* **Scopes:** no extra scopes are required.

## Instructions

**Phase 1: Generate a token in Checkr**

1. In Checkr, generate a SCIM API token and note your Account ID.

**Phase 2: Connect in Lumos**

1. Click the Checkr card in your Lumos integrations (reconnect an existing card or add a new one).
2. Enter the **Token** and **Account ID**.
3. Click **Connect**.

## Troubleshooting

**Can't connect the integration.** Confirm the SCIM API token is valid and not revoked, and that the Account ID matches the account the token belongs to. Regenerate the token in Checkr if needed.
