# Access Reviews Rollout Communication Templates

## Background

This article provides templates for announcing a new Access Review process to reviewers before you launch it. Lumos sends notifications via email and Slack when you launch a review, but reviewers who aren't familiar with Lumos yet may have questions.

Send at least an email or Slack announcement, whichever your company uses more. You can also send both.

## Announcement to delegated reviewers

Send this to the assigned reviewers before you launch the review (or post it in a public Slack channel).

> Hi \[COMPANY] employees!
>
> We're excited to announce that, on \[DATE], we're launching a simplified process for reviewing employee access to software, powered by [Lumos](https://www.lumos.com).

> **What does this mean for me?**
>
> We regularly review access to software apps to make sure that employees still have the right access for their role.
>
> On \[DATE], we're sending email and Slack alerts to employees responsible for reviewing employee software access. The notification will have instructions and a link to complete your review.
>
> To log into Lumos, enter your company email and log in with \[LOGIN PROVIDER].
>
> **What if I didn't get a notification?**
>
> Then you're not responsible for reviewing any accounts at this time.
>
> **Who do I contact with questions?**
>
> If you run into any issues, please reach out to \[CONTACT EMAIL/SLACK CHANNEL].
